• Themed breakouts. You will have the opportunity to participate in one of three workshops centred on building capacity and knowledge in the stream of your choice*; SMART, SUSTAINABLE, or INCLUSIVE. In these interactive sessions, facilitated by national experts in climate action, community engagement and technology, collaborate with fellow attendees on actionable ideas to drive impact in your community.

Afternoon:

• Another round of themes breakouts according to your chosen theme.
• Networking
• [Optional]: Project Showcase. You will hear from project leads from across the region who have led Global Shapers Community Projects aligned with one of our six Impact Areas.

About SHAPE

To build capacity and foster connection amongst the young leaders in our community, the Global Shapers Community hosts biannual summits, called a ‘SHAPE’, for each region. The theme of this year’s summit is “Acknowledging our past, shaping our future”, with the program content centred on the pillars of Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive. Whilst the full weekend is only open for members of Global Shaper Hubs in the region, certain elements of the conference invite other members of the community to join to build capacity and foster connection amongst the young leaders in our community.
