Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition and networking forum that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals by providing a stage for breakthrough ideas both locally and globally.
Applications are now open for students, alumni, researchers and innovators to present their ‘big idea’ to an interdisciplinary jury of experts, their peers and the public.
What’s involved?
In a 3-minute presentation, participants will present their research, business model or innovative idea to try to convince a jury of their solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

The winners of Falling Walls Lab Adelaide will travel to Canberra to make their pitch on the national stage at the Falling Walls Lab Australia Finale on Monday 1 September.
The winner will then travel to Berlin to compete in the Global Finale on Thursday 6 November, attending the Falling Walls Science Summit and taking part in an exclusive extended program during their stay. At the Global Finale, the top 100 international Lab winners compete to become the Breakthrough Winner in the Emerging Talents category of Falling Walls. The winner will take home the title and prize money, and receive the opportunity to pitch their idea once again on the grand stage of the Falling Walls Breakthroughs of the Year.
