Join us for a special edition of the SA Insights Series as part of Australian Space Week, showcasing South Australia’s growing role as the nation’s space state and the emerging opportunities for the life sciences sector.

Feature presentation | Katherine Bennell-Pegg

The session will feature an opening address from Australian astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg who will share her insights on the benefits of microgravity for health and medical research and its real-world applications.

Katherine will highlight the potential for Australia to conduct microgravity research, including how its researchers and industries can best pursue this opportunity and help improve life on Earth.

MTP Connect SA Industry Development Officer, Dr Santhni Subramaniam will then lead a fireside chat with experts working at the intersection of space and human health innovations.
