About the role

The Communications and Marketing Advisor delivers the day-to-day marketing and communications activities that strengthen Southern Launch’s reputation as a leader in space launch services. This role supports both external brand growth and internal engagement, ensuring consistent messaging across the business. Responsibilities include:

• Create marketing materials, graphics, and technical collateral to support sales and launch campaigns.
• Manage social media channels, showcasing launches, milestones, and partnerships.
• Draft media releases, newsletters, and case studies to highlight achievements.
• Maintain and update the company website with accurate, relevant content.
• Monitor industry media, reporting opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate outreach programs with schools, universities, and the community.
• Plan and deliver high-profile events, including media days and industry briefings.
• Manage sponsorships and partnerships to maximise brand exposure.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communications.

About you

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in marketing/PR in aerospace, defence, or high-tech sectors.
• Strong writing skills with ability to simplify complex technical content.
• Proficient in graphic design, digital marketing, and social media management.
• Skilled in event coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive, creative, and organised with strong prioritisation skills.

This position requires you to hold and maintain a valid Australian Defence Security Clearance.
