About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping meaningful career journeys? Join ASC as a Talent & Career Development Specialist – Career Pathways, where you’ll lead the design, governance, and promotion of career pathways that support workforce attraction, retention, and engagement. This strategic role collaborates closely with Nuclear Capability Development, Learning & Development, and subject matter experts to build dynamic career development solutions across the business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the structure for career mapping and pathway planning across ASC.
  • Develop governance processes to ensure career maps remain current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Capability Development and SMEs to identify diverse career pathways.
  • Leverage existing competency frameworks to design structured career pathways by discipline.
  • Create engaging resources to support understanding and adoption of career maps.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance career planning tools.
  • Review and enhance secondment mechanisms to promote internal mobility and development.
  • Provide tailored career advice to employees in collaboration with OD and business stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships across ASC and Defence Industry to expand career development opportunities.

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, with experience in career pathway development.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing career maps and pathway solutions.
  • Strong understanding of organisational development, including change and talent management.
  • Demonstrated skills writing documents /presentations/ creating infographics.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities with a strategic and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels.
  • Experience in developing governance frameworks for career development initiatives.
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive impactful outcomes.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/MS Power Point is highly desirable.

 

Eligibility 

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
