Illuminate Adelaide’s Base Camp returns to Lot Fourteen for 2025!

We’re excited to welcome back Illuminate Adelaide’s Base Camp to Lot Fourteen from 3–20 July 2025!

Our innovation district will once again transform into a lively winter village, offering food, drinks, firepits, and more. A beloved late-night hub, Base Camp is free and family-friendly, showcasing Adelaide’s top food and beverages while celebrating South Australia’s rich culinary talent.

This year, Lot Fourteen will also host and the new thrilling – the 10 Minute Dance Party! Enjoy a celebration of art, colour, costume, and community in this all-ages party with only one catch: you only have 10 minutes to dance!

Located between Adelaide Botanic Gardens’ Night Visions and City Lights, Base Camp is the perfect place to start, end, or take a break during your Illuminate Adelaide adventure.

With nine world premieres and 23 Australian exclusives, 2025’s incarnation of Illuminate Adelaide offers 134 incredible opportunities for audiences to experience new and astonishing events, artists, and creations from 2 to 20 July.

The Adelaide Botanic Garden will become an after-dark journey into parallel dimensions with Night Visions. The immersive spectacle will blend light, lasers, projections, and sound, reimagining nature through cutting-edge technology and featuring local and international artists.

A highlight of the 2025 ticketed program is Horizons, a one-night-only, Australian-first Drone and Light Spectacular at Adelaide Oval. This exclusive event will transform the stadium into a living canvas with drones, light, sound, and sky, celebrating our people, place, and bright future.

Over 17 unforgettable nights Adelaide’s iconic cultural institutions and hidden gems come alight in the free City Lights program with breathtaking displays spanning the bustling CBD from Adelaide’s East End all the way down to the glittering Festival Plaza.
