Innovation Hub

The Innovation Hub will be dedicated to fostering idea exchange and accelerating research translation, commercialisation and business growth through industry attraction and investment.

The Innovation Hub will offer a dynamic space for ideas to flourish and future challenges to be met head-on.

The $20 million Innovation Hub will be a leader in building a culture of collaboration between research, industry and government. Offering a dynamic space for ideas to flourish and future challenges to be met head-on.

This visionary project will drive innovation and economic complexity in South Australia.

It will facilitate stronger connections between research and industry in technologies critical to the development of the South Australian economy.

The hub’s operator will function as a state-wide ecosystem enabler, acting as a concierge for businesses, intermediaries and research institutions, while curating, operating and activating the hub.

A vital centre point amongst SA’s network of 21 innovation places – which are expected to give a $6.4 billion boost to our economy, powered by new investment, cutting-edge research and a thriving innovation ecosystem.

The South Australian Government is committed to establishing Lot Fourteen’s first development, the Innovation Centre building commencing construction early-2026. The Innovation Hub will be located in this new commercial building in the heart of Adelaide with tenants: the Australian Defence Technologies Academy, the Space Assembly Integration and Testing (AIT) Facility, and BAE Systems Australia.

Innovation Hub is funded as part of the Adelaide City Deal.
